Happy Cyber Monday to all the deas hunters who celebrate. Here’s an excellent deal we found this morning if you are the outdoorsy type, need some new gear for an upcoming cold-weather trip or just like to stay cozy and stylish around town in brands such as North Face, Patagonia, Helly Hanson, Hoka and more.
Select Chase cardholders are seeing targeted Chase Offers for Backcountry that go up to $200 back on $400 spent at Backcountry. For example, in the Chase Offers section of my Chase Sapphire Reserve®, I have that $200 back on the $400 spent offer. There are smaller ones, too, that give a smaller discount on lesser spending.
To use it, you need to add the offer to your card and then pay with that card at checkout. The deal is actually valid until Dec. 31, 2024, but there are reasons you may want to try and get in on this deal today.
First, Rakuten has elevated cash back or bonus points available today for Cyber Monday at a variety of retailers, including Backcountry at 15 points per dollar. On $200 spent, that would be an extra $30 cash back, for example.
If you’re new to Rakuten, you can earn a bonus of $40 cash back with the first $40 eligible purchase made within 90 days, which could make this deal even better for new Rakuten customers.
